Chapter 8
~*~

  One month later, the investigation was still going on but nothing came up. Police had no lead or even a clue. I was a criminal genius. Shane tried to speak to me a few times but I just ignored him. He thought I was going to forgive him that easily------in his dreams! I was really happy now, less was on my mind and I also gained back some weight. No more worries and I totally forgot about the whole Michie incident. My life was great again.
  This afternoon at break, I sat at our usual table in the cafeteria with Tina and Amanda. We were talking when two cheerleaders passed us and this was what I heard them say:
  ¡§Poor Shane, he¡¦s very sad, I feel so sorry for him,¡¨ said one of them. Her name was Chantal. She was Michie¡¦s best friend. She had short black curly hair, a huge smile and dark skin. She was really pretty too. Weren¡¦t all cheerleaders?
  ¡§Yeah, I know, it¡¦s too bad,¡¨ said Mandy, another cheerleader. She was Michie¡¦s younger sister and was actually the one who found Michie¡¦s body in the bathroom. She had blond hair too with some red highlights. She had braces but she still looked pretty.
  ¡§I miss Michie, it¡¦s really lonely without her.¡¨
  ¡§Why don¡¦t we have a pool party? I know this is not the right time to celebrate but just to cheer him up. What do you say?¡¨ asked Chantal.
  ¡§That¡¦s a great idea!¡¨
  ¡§At my house?¡¨
  ¡§Yeah, why not?¡¨
  ¡§Ok then. I¡¦ll go tell the others.¡¨
  So they were having a party, eh? Who did they think they were? What was their business with Shane? Let him be sad. He deserved it. He brought it all on himself.
  OH MY GOD! I was so angry at Mandy and Chantal. I mean who did they think they were? How could they just decide to have a party for him in a situation like this? Anger was preying on my mind again and once again it took over me¡K

i was about to forget that person when today i saw him online once more, it made me change my decision, but anywayz i couldnt forget him, such a important person to me... i'm so sad and despress... dunno what to do, why is it life so hard, what did i do? I ve always do good things then why did this prob come on me? please someone tell me, someone help, or someone kill me, i dun wanna live again....

Chapter 7
~*~ 

  The next day, police were questioning everyone whether they knew anything about Michie¡¦s murder. Well as you may know, they found Michie¡¦s dead body in the bathroom and it caused a really big scene at the club. The incident was on the local news. When the police interviewed me, Tina and Amanda, we all said that we were at home. Well Tina and Amanda were telling the truth, but I wasn¡¦t. Anyway, no one knew, neither did Tina and Amamda and I wasn¡¦t planning on telling them. You don¡¦t have to tell your friends everything. I mean, there are things you kept to yourself and things you shared with each other, and this was one of the things that I didn¡¦t want to tell them.

  The investigation went on for a week, and everyone in school was talking about it. I still hadn¡¦t spoken to Shane yet, he was always in the field practicing football but Amanda had seen him a few times and she told me that he looked really unhappy. I hadn¡¦t been seeing him in my classes either and I found out that the principal had changed his timetable due to football practice. I was really happy for the next two weeks of school, even though police were still investigating the murder. I didn¡¦t need to worry about Shane and Michie anymore and no one suspected me------so there was nothing to worry about, nothing at all¡K

Chapter 6
~*~

   I was so depressed. I knew I shouldn¡¦t have felt that way but I couldn¡¦t help it. I love him. I wasn¡¦t going to forgive him for what he did, but then again I missed him.
  I got to school today and found Shane hanging out with another girl and guess who the girl was------Michie. She was the captain of the cheerleading squad and Shane met her at football practice. I walked past them and pretended not to care but deep down I couldn¡¦t help but feel nothing but anger and jealousy towards them.
  My day was crap! I was angry the whole day, even Tina and Amanda were afraid to talk to me because whenever they did I just scowled and snapped at them. So I was kind of alone the whole day. I got home after school and went straight to my room. I had lost five pounds but I just couldn¡¦t eat. I was so depressed. I was in my room all afternoon just thinking about Shane. Then at nine, my stomach gave a grumble so I decided to go downstairs to get something to eat. The image of Shane and Michie together still haunted me while I was eating. I couldn¡¦t take it anymore! Then, I saw a knife in the kitchen sink and then something evil took over me. It was telling me to kill Michie. I tried to block it from my mind but it won me over in the end. So I found myself reaching for the knife and putting it in my handbag.  The next thing I knew, I got in my mum¡¦s car, which she usually left at home on Friday nights because her colleague at the hospital usually drove her to work, and I started the car. I had no idea where I was going, but when I finally stopped, I found myself at the front door of a nightclub that Shane¡¦s band usually played in. Somehow, I had the suspicion that Michie was going to be there. And I was right, she was in the crowd dancing with friends. I went in and sat in a dark corner so no one would notice me. I waited for more than two hours, when finally Michie left the dance floor to get a drink then went to the bathroom. I got up from my seat and went to the bathroom. I looked around. No one was in there except or Michie and me, so I locked the door. It was a strange looking bathroom. There were mirrors on every wall and the floor and ceiling were both encrusted with precious stones like sapphires, rubies, jades and even diamonds. It was a really cool place. Michie was still inside one of the cubicles, so I decided to hide in the cabinet with the mops, toilet paper and stuff like that. After a few minutes, Michie finally came out. I could see her from the gap that I had left in the cabinet door. She was doing her hair and make-up. She was pretty with long blond hair and strikingly bright blue eyes. I scowled. I was really angry. Then I remembered the knife in my bag. I was going to kill her. It was my final decision. I took one last look from the cabinet and I opened the door as quietly as I could, and I snuck up on her while she was looking for something in he bag, then I grabbed her from the back and I stabbed her in the back. Blood splashed out and onto my hands. She gave a low yell, I covered her mouth so no one would hear her. She looked at me from the mirror with her eyes wide open and blood dripping from her mouth.  I took the knife out and let go of her. She fell back to the floor, numb with blood dripping everywhere. I went to the door but stopped, I turned around with the knife still in my hand. I saw her lying on the floor and I went over to her and stabbed her five more times in
the chest.

  Finally, I cleaned all the possible fingerprints that I might have left and washed the knife and put it back in my bag. I opened the door, went out of the club and drove back home, with the image of Michie¡¦s dead body sprawled on the bathroom floor on my mind, I drove home and went into my room------feeling very happy.
  I had killed her. I finally did it and Shane has no one now. Good for the both of them!
No one would ever find out because the only ones who knew were God, Michie and me.

Woke up in the mornig early, and went to play tennis wiv my sis and a friend, they had this bet, is my sis loses, she will do 5 push ups, and if the guy loses, he would hav 2 sing infront of every1, the match took like 15 mins, and my sis won, so.. Mohammed had to sing, but he didnt want to... we tried to force him, but still didnt...so he had to do another thing, so my sis said, run nacked in the court 10 times, he said that he will take of his shirt, and b barefoot, he didnt dare run naked, hehe... anyway, he only run 5 times the court,he was tired, so we said that's enough. in the afternoon, i went with my mom , my sis, and Carmen to this market named Sabongeri, just to buy some east my mom wanted, it stink there, and it was noisy... i mean too noisy, then we went to a supermarket to buy everything we needed, arriving at home,we made the dinner, Well~ dun laugth at me, cause this is my firt time to do cooking, hehe, i'm better doing other stuff then cookin, but still... Carmen and Angela was peeling the potatoes, while i was making the chocolate cake, and they did some chips, and i wanted to make some italien spagetti, but it didnt come out as i expected, so i change it to somthing else, it didnt look good, but it taste very nice... my bro ate alot, n also the chocolates, hehe,,, he loves chocolates...ummm ok enough for today, i''l put the pics later on, mayb on Edit or Extra, anyway~~` it was quite a busy and tired day... gtg rest abit now

Chapter 5

  Shane and I have been dating for two months and everything was going great, but I guess I shouldn¡¯t have opened my mouth so quickly because what happened that day in the car was something I¡¯d never forget¡­
  ¡°Who¡¯s Michie?¡± I asked angrily holding up his cell phone.
  ¡°Huh? What?!¡± he stuttered. ¡°I don¡¯t know her. What are you talking about?¡±
  ¡°Come on, Shane,¡± I yelled. ¡°Who is she? She called to speak to you about something important. You must know her,¡± I said.
  ¡°I DON¡¯T KNOW HER!¡± he shouted.
  ¡°Maybe this will help you remember,¡± I said and threw the cell phone at him, it missed his head by inches and fell to the floor (I guess I should have learnt how to aim better).
  ¡°Have you gone mad!¡± he shouted. ¡°You broke the phone!¡±
  ¡°Oh! I did?¡± I said innocently. ¡°Opps! Sorry and goodbye,¡± I said and slammed the car door, tears running down my angry face.
  I was through with him! Guys are all the same! None of them mean it when they say that they love you. I was so angry with myself for crying for him because he didn¡¯t even deserve my tears. I spent the whole night in my room crying. I was really hungry but I didn¡¯t have an appetite. It was good my mum wasn¡¯t at home or else she would have been nagging me to tell her what happened, and I really wasn¡¯t in the mood to do any explaining.
  Shane called a few times in the night but I didn¡¯t answer him. He even tried to talk to me at school but I avoided him anyway possible. I sat in the back row during classes and spent every free moment I had with Tina and Amanda. I told them about the break-up and they helped me avoid him at all times. You see, that¡¯s what friends are for.

  The next day, I woke up (still smiling) and went downstairs to have breakfast, and then I went to school. I met Tina along the way and told her about the other night, she was really happy for me. We got to school before the bell rang, which gave me the chance to tell Amanda and she was really happy for me too!

  Classes went on as usual and as usual Shane was with me, which was cool because we got to talk to each other more. I even spent break talking to him. We decided to go to the beach on Saturday, he wanted to go on Sunday but I told him that I spent Sundays with my mum and he totally understood.

  For the next few weeks, he would always drive me home and we would talk for hours on the phone at night. I was falling hard into danger¡¦s lair, not knowing that sweet talk and ¡§I love you¡¨ from a guy¡¦s mouth were never true.

Chapter 3

  I usually spent Sundays with my mum and today was no different. We were planning on staying home to watch TV and bake cookies. So that was my Sunday for this week, but while I was watching TV with mum, the phone rang. I assumed it was going to be Amber since she usually called me at that time, but how wrong I was¡K
  ¡§Hello?¡¨
  ¡§Hey, Elise?¡¨
  ¡§Yeah, who¡¦s this?¡¨
  ¡§It¡¦s me Shane.¡¨
  ¡§Oh.¡¨
  ¡§I was wondering if you¡¦d like to go to a movie or something with me tonight?¡¨ he asked. ¡§That is if you¡¦re not busy.¡¨
  ¡§Uhh¡Ktonight?...¡¨
  ¡§You don¡¦t have to if you don¡¦t want to.¡¨
  I took a minute or two to answer him because I didn¡¦t want to say no in case he thought I didn¡¦t want to and he probably won¡¦t ask me again, this was a chance not to be missed¡Kbut¡KI couldn¡¦t say yes because I¡¦m suppose to be having a mother-and-daughter day. Why do guys always have to make things so complicated for us girls?
  ¡§Okay then,¡¨ I said, making my final decision.
    ¡§So I¡¦ll pick you up at eight?¡¨ he asked.
  ¡§Yeah, I¡¦ll be ready by then.¡¨
  ¡§Bye.¡¨

  I hung up the phone with a huge smile on my face and told mum that there was a change of plans. She was quite disappointed, I could see it on her face, and it really hurt me to see her that way, as if she was not suffering enough. You see, like I said, Sunday was the only day that I could spend with my mum, because she worked a night shift at the local hospital six days a week as a nurse, so Sunday was the only work-free day she had and since I can¡¦t see her in the mornings from Monday to Saturday because of school, we spent Sundays together. But my mum was a good sport and although I could see disappointment on her face, she said I could go if I wanted to.
  So with that, I went upstairs to my room to get ready. I decided that I would wear the lilac dress my mum got me for Christmas the year before. I made my long brown hair curly, and then did my make-up, and before I knew it I heard a car pull up the driveway and then I heard the doorbell ring. My mum got the door and I quickly went downstairs.
¡§Oh! You must be Shane,¡¨ said mum.
¡§Yes. It¡¦s nice to meet you, Mrs. Woods.¡¨
¡§Hi, Shane,¡¨ I said.
¡§Hey! Elise, you look beautiful,¡¨ he said. ¡§Are you ready to go?¡¨
¡§Yeah. Bye mum,¡¨ I said and kissed her on the cheek.
¡§Bye, Mrs. Woods.¡¨
¡§Have fun you guys!¡¨ she said as she watched us go before she closed the door.
  The drive to the cinema took ten minutes and we were talking non-stop all the way. I also finally got to ask him how he got the scar on his neck, and he told me that his dad was drunk one night and got into a rage and slit him without knowing on the neck with a knife. His dad was arrested and was also ordered to stay away from him and Shane later found out that he had moved out of the country and got married again and had three kids with his new wife. He also told me why his dad was drunk every night, it was because his dad found Shane¡¦s mum with another man at the local bar, and he got so angry that he slapped Shane¡¦s mum and tried to kill the man she was having an affair with. Shane¡¦s mum filed for divorce the next day and police also arrested his dad for his violent act and he had to spend ten weeks in jail. At first, Shane chose to stay behind with his dad but he wished he didn¡¦t, because the drinking and torture started after he was released and Shane was the one looking after the both of them. He had to work part-time jobs to support him and his dad and he also had to miss a year of school. But Shane was now living with his mum and his step-dad, and he didn¡¦t really care anymore about his biological dad because he never appreciated anything that Shane did and he was never there for the family, that was how the affair his mum had started. I asked him if there was anything he¡¦d like to change in his past and he said, ¡§Nothing at all. I mean, I love my step-dad. He¡¦s been there for me unlike my dad, so there is nothing that I¡¦d want to change.¡¨
  The cinema was jam-packed with teenagers mostly from our school. But I was quite relieved not to have seen Tina and Amanda. I mean if they were there, they would surely think that Shane and I were having a date together, which it was not. And they¡¦d really tease me because I¡¦ve not been out on a date since my last boyfriend, Jay. I really fell in love with him but things didn¡¦t work out the way we wanted it to so we ended the relationship. I haven¡¦t gotten over him, I mean you never really get over your first love no matter how hard you try, do you? He was even the first guy I cried for, but looking back I guess I was kind of stupid because he never really cared. He¡¦s got another girlfriend now, but a part of me will always love him. My perspective on love is that it is easy to fall in it but hard to fall out. 
  The movie was really good. It was a horror movie and it was really scary. After the movie we went to the town¡¦s deli and got something to eat. We were talking all this time. He was a really good listener and I told him about Jay and how I never got to know my dad. He also told me that he had two other step twin sisters who were retarded and he also told me about his band and how they were trying to get a record label to sign them up. I guess you could say that we became really good friends.
  We finally got home and I thanked him for the wonderful evening, then something happened that would change my life¡K
  ¡§Will you be my girlfriend?¡¨ blushing as he asked.
  It took me a few minutes to take it all in, mainly because my heart was beating so fast. Then it happened¡K
  ¡§Yeah, I will,¡¨ I said, my body was trembling all over but the words came out. Then he smiled and leaned forward and kissed me on my lips and said goodnight. I smiled back, opened the car door, walked into my house, went up my room, laid on my bed and smiled myself to sleep. I WAS SO HAPPY!!!

Chapter 2

It was the end of summer and school had just started. I went over to Tina¡¦s house so we could walk to school together. Amanda usually went with the school bus. This was my last year in high school and I already got a scholarship to college. I was really excited and wanted to have fun this year, but I still had to study. Being a straight-A student doesn¡¦t mean that you can study only for an hour. No, I had to study five hours a day.

  Tina and Amanda were both going to go to the same college as me, which was good because it would be nice to have someone you know by your side.

  School was still the same, no surprises there. Teachers were still strict as ever, girls were still hanging out in groups talking about guys and the latest fashion, and boys were still boys ------playing rough and just taking life as it comes everyday, but wait¡Kwho¡¦s that?
 ¡§Hey Tina, who¡¦s that guy?¡¨ I asked.
 ¡§Oh that¡¦s Shane,¡¨ said Tina. ¡§Don¡¦t you know him?¡¨
  ¡§I¡¦ve never seen him before.¡¨
  ¡§You¡¦re kidding?! His band always plays at the local club every Friday.¡¨
  ¡§You know I haven¡¦t been going to any clubs lately, I have too much studying to do,¡¨ I said matter-of-factly. ¡§How long has he been here?¡¨
  ¡§Since this summer.¡¨
  ¡§He¡¦s cute.¡¨
  ¡§Yeah, and single.¡¨
  ¡§Anyway, let¡¦s get to class.¡¨ 
  My first class was calculus and Tina and Amanda had economics. So I went to class by myself and sat at my usual table in the middle row. Then all of a sudden¡K
  ¡§Is this seat taken?¡¨
  I noticed that I must have been staring with my mouth open and my eyes bulging so I quickly said, ¡§No.¡¨
  And with that Shane sat down next to me and gave me a smile, so I smiled back. What else was I supposed to do? I noticed that he had a big scar on the left side of his neck, kind of like a cut from a knife. But I didn¡¦t have time to ask him how he got it because the teacher came in.
  First half of classes were pretty boring. I had double English then I had Technology, and all this time Shane had the same classes as me. He also sat next to me and I found out that he was a pretty smart and funny guy. 
  It was finally break before I got to see Tina and Amanda. They were both talking about their Chemistry Lab. Experiment when they sat down at our usual table in the cafeteria.
  ¡§Hey guys, guess what? Shane has the same classes as me.¡¨
  ¡§So what?¡¨ asked Amanda raising her eyebrows.
 ¡§Nothing, just thought you¡¦d like to know,¡¨ I said blushing.
  ¡§Don¡¦t tell me you like him!¡¨ said Tina.
  ¡§No! I just wanted to talk about something.¡¨
  Even though I knew they were going to tease me about having a crush on him, I ended up telling them about his scar and so many other things and before I knew it, break was over and I realized that I had been talking about him the whole time. I said bye to Tina and Amanda, who were both giggling as they said bye to me. But I mean I couldn¡¦t have a crush on him. I just met him. I didn¡¦t even know him. There was no way I was falling for him!
  Throughout the day, Shane was in all my classes and we even talked for a while in Physics class, since the teacher came ten minutes late. I came to know that we had many things in common, which was really cool.
  Don¡¦t get me wrong, but he¡¦s really a sweet guy and I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM!!!

Well~ my life, ummm quite boring, nothing to do really, but i enjoy it. I wont be working in the office for this week, so , dunno when i'll get de chance 2 update my site, but i'll do it as soon as i hav time, hehe...And 2day just went to play tennis again wiv my sis... 3 hours again... that kills... know this time, i really got a very very bad tan....~ i wonder how much time will i hav to wait until my skin get bak to normal, hehe... ok i gtg now more edit comming up later

This story is named " Love  you enought to kill " it's written by a Friend of mine named Carmen Lai.... but i'm going to change some stuff in it , hope you guys hav a nice time reading it everyday one chatper

Prologue
~*~

"What are you doing?!"
"I'm sorry, Tina, but you know too much---i have to kill you."
"It doesnt have to be this way..." gasped Tina, she could hardly speak because of the thick rope wrapped tightly around her neck by her best friend, the person she trusted the most in this world. And now she is almost strangling her to death, how could this be?
" Don't you get it?!" Yelled Elise. "I killed Michie, Chantal, Mandy,Amanda and Ray.Do you think the cops will let me go that easily? I'll have to serve for life..."
"I dont believe you!" interrupted Tina. " Why? why did you do it? what came over you?"
"Shut up!" Said Elise and tugged harder on the rope
"You know, I'd love to shut up because it's really hard trying to talk some sence into you with this rope around my neck," said Tina sarcastilly.
"I said Shut Up!"
"I  wont. You had such a great life ahead of you, Just tell me why?!"
With that , Elise Let go the Rope around Tina's neck and Tina was so relieved that she could breath again. After a few moments of silence, Elise drifted into a world of her own, a world full of darkness and hatred, a world that was once a beautiful dream, before an innocent mind was posoned and the beautiful dream became a horrible nightmare.....

Chapter 1
~*~

We were best of friends Tina,Amanda,and me (Elise). Nothing could have ever sparated us. We were like sisters. We lived in a small town in Toronto, where everyone knew each other. Nothing really happened in Richmond, i mean people woke up everyday and do the exactly thing they did yesterday. There were not big events or anything for what that matter! It was a quiet town, the only crime that had ever had here was in 1956, when a guy robbed a store and went hidding in a dumpster. Police searched everywhere for him for 2 days until they finally found him inside the dumpster smelling really bad and dead (Yea, the guy was an idiot, what can i say? Anyway he stole only $100, so i dont see what the fuss was all about). And so the " big crime", so they called it , was finally over. Yea, that's the life of a cop , but they still liked strutting in the streets on a hot summer day, eating thier daughnuts and giving tickets to unsuspecting drivers for stupid reasons.
  But my life was ok, i mean i had great friends, the best mum a daugther could ask for and a great education. You 're probably wondering why i only mentioned my mom, that's because my dad died a few months after my birth, it was dead in a terrible car crash, so i never get the chance to know him. My mom raised me as a single parent, which meant she worked twice as hard as she supposed to. She never got married again, or even went out on a dates anymore after my dad's death. The reason was because mum and dad had known each other since they were little kids and they went through so much before they could even get married and have me. And when i say they went through so much , i mean " so much". You see, it was like a forbidden love story. Mum's family hated dad's and dad's hated mum's , and both families tried everything to stop them from seeing each other. But how could you stop 2 people from falling in love? In the end, 2 families both gave up because mum was diagnosed with breats cancer and dad wanted to be by her side and treatened to kill himself if they didnt allow him to do so, and mum wanted to marry him and refused to go though the operation that could save her life if they if they didnt allow them to get married. So both families realized that their children's happiness was much more important then their hatred for each other. So after the operation , mum and dad got married and a year later they i was born--- and the rest you know, he died.
i always wanted to have a fater that's why i couldnt help but envy those who have and feel nothing but remorse for those  who dont. i'd give anything to have him here by my side, just to even spend one minute with him, to know how it's feel to be loved by one, but i know it can never be true because what's done is done. i know that wherever he is, he is happy and proud of me.
ok now .. enough about that. Since i was a child, Tina and Amanda were like my big sisters. I was the youngest and they looked after me and were there for me when i needed them. We knew each other since we were in kindergarten. Well~ we knew each other for at least long enough. It was such good memories looking backward, the best moments of my life.

Todai morning i went to play tennis, we Played liKe  3 hours unda da sun, i got a really bad tan, Well~ now my legs , my hand, my Bak, well~ everywhere is hurting me, i fink i wont be able to move 2moro morning hehe, jk.... well~ that really does hurt, anyway... more to come...........................
